To Whom It May Concern:

I love my job! I have been working for Boothby Therapy Services for about two years and it is the best decision I have ever made. I have been a practicing occupational therapist for about 47 years and it is wonderful to be able to work in a way that not only challenges me but also allows me the freedom to practice the way I want to.

As Clinical Director of the occupational therapists, it is my responsibility to consult and oversee all the OTs as well as do evaluations and consultations as needed. This has been an excellent opportunity for me to use the clinical skills I am comfortable with. The Boothbys have been wonderful about allowing me free reign to do “my thing.” At the same time, there are superb supports available in terms of continuing education services, opportunities to “rap” as needed, and other clinical supports.

Therapists working in the schools know the challenges that can arise in working with teachers, case managers, administrators, parents, etc. The Boothbys provide emotional, physical and tactical supports for any situation that may arise in the schools. They offer supplies, equipment, test materials and other resources to make our job easier and help facilitate the process.

Above all, it is a pleasure to come to work and be greeted by smiling faces who are available to listen, talk and offer to be helpful in any way necessary.
