I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Boothby Therapy Services. The experience has assisted me in growing professionally as well as personally.

When transitioning back to the United States with my family last year, I contacted Maren and Christopher, on a recommendation, to explore the options of working with them. From our very first contact, all of our interactions were professional, genuine and supportive. After negotiating time changes in connecting via phone and answering seemingly endless questions, it was a joy to hear that Maren and Christopher had offered me a job. I felt like I could trust them and believed in the ethos and philosophy of the company as a whole. The therapists that work for Boothby Therapy Services are involved in some company decisions and take an active part in the direction of the company. In addition, they are committed to giving back to the community by establishing grants and opportunities for their therapists to stretch themselves professionally.

Maren and Christopher went well out of their way to ensure that I had a smooth transition back to the public school system. They worked diligently to assist me in getting the “right” placement for my skills, my interests and commute. I am particularly grateful for just simple encouraging phone calls, to make sure I was happy , to devoting evening meetings to support me in case studies. Maren Boothby is very knowledgeable and articulate about professional issues and is always up to date on current theories and practices. She was always readily accessible for support, for example, ideas for report writing, working knowledge of current IEP writing programs, and community support for specialized clinical cases.

The overall compensation package was also a factor when choosing Boothby Therapy Services. Professional development was important to me after being outside of the United States and Maren and Christopher made concerted efforts to support me in this endeavor. Financial assistance for commuting also won me over!

I have found that Maren and Christopher are the perfect solution to private practice and public school collaboration. They ensured that I had a realistic caseload size, ample support and materials, planning time, a reasonable commute. Because Maren and Christopher are so diligent about taking care of many of the roadblocks that hindered my daily practice, they enabled me to do the best job that I could possibly do.
