STEP 1: INITIAL DISCOVERY MEETING: In the first meeting Boothby Therapy Services looks for candidates who:

  1. Participate Honestly in the Interview.
  2. Seek a Higher Quality of Life.
  3. Are Passionate about Kids.
  4. Demonstrate a Desire to Make a Difference.
  5. Want to be Part of a Dynamic Community of Therapists.
  6. Exhibit Intellectual Curiosity.
  7. Value and Display Professionalism.

STEP 2: PERSONAL + CLINICAL PREFERENCES SURVEY: Following the Initial Discovery Meeting, selected candidates will be directed to an online survey consisting of 29 questions which will allow Boothby Therapy Services to gain a more intimate knowledge of your:

  1. Personal Life Priorities.
  2. Current Job Satisfaction.
  3. Career Goals.
  4. Ideal Time Commitment + Work Schedule.
  5. Philosophical Point of View on Speech Therapy.
  6. Definition of Success.
  7. Preferred Job Environment.

STEP 3: THE CLINICAL SKILLS ASSESSMENT: If a candidate successfully moves to step 3, he or she will then undergo an assessment of their Speech Pathology Skill + Experience, including evaluation of:

  1. Diagnostic Abilities + Assessment Methods.
  2. Therapeutic Skills + Treatment Methods.
  3. Caseload Management Skills.
  4. Role(s) Played on Student Teams.
  5. Education, Training + Breadth of Experience.
  6. Technological Proficiency.
  7. Specialized Clinical Expertise + Training.

STEP 4: YOUR PERSONALIZED PLACEMENT OPTIONS: In Step 4, Boothby Therapy Services evaluates and analyzes all the data and information you provide and presents customized placement options! Only candidates who meet or exceed the rigorous standards in "Step 3: The Clinical Skills Assessment" will be offered these personalized placement options.
